Every GTA protagonist's fate - whiteboard mix
The 13:55 video rebuilt in the same format as mg-gta5-whiteboard-mix: no frames, pictures
straight on the whiteboard, bigger host, hard cuts, real footage from twelve different games. New link - the
old masterplan link is untouched.
201 shots · 125 real game clips from 12 games · 13:55
What was done
- Real footage per game, per moment. 24 scene recordings downloaded - Vice City Stories, Vice City,
San Andreas, Liberty City Stories, GTA III, the 1999 GTA 2 promo film, GTA IV and both its endings, The
Lost and Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony, Chinatown Wars, GTA V, and both GTA VI trailers - then cut to the
exact line: Catalina's front page, Big Smoke's last speech, Kate falling at the wedding, Roman on the
pavement, Billy Grey in the orange jumpsuit, Luis after losing the diamonds, Huang's comic panels, the
prison fence Lucia walks out of.
- Same rules as the GTA 5 build. Hard cuts, nothing moves, no clip and no second of any recording
used twice, every clip cut long enough that it never loops.
- Mixed media - real clips where the game showed it, official renders where the line names a person,
drawn GTA-style pictures where nothing was ever on screen (the money, the phone call, the grave).
Two lines of voiceover were changed - please check
You gave permission to adjust wording. I used it twice, in both cases
because the original states as fact something that cannot be known yet:
| hook: "to a couple who die at the very end of GTA 6" |
now: "to a couple whose ending nobody has seen yet" |
| payoff: "At the end of GTA 6, this couple dies, one of them, maybe both." |
now: "That couple is Jason and Lucia, and how their story ends is the one thing on this entire list you
cannot look up yet." |
The hook, the callback and the payoff all still land; the video just
stops claiming to know the ending of a game that is not out. Same voice, same settings - only those two
sections were re-recorded. Say the word and I will put the original lines back.
Still open
- Shot density is about 4 seconds against the GTA 5 video's 2.5 - twelve games give thinner material per
line. Another sourcing pass would close the gap.
- More host poses.
- Music and sound.
